Sex and Beyond

 As defined by The Concise Oxford Dictionary:

Sexual relates to sex or to the sexes or to the relations between them.

Sensuous is used to mean, ‘affecting or appealing to the senses’ in an aesthetic sense.

Sex is not just sex!  There is a far greater purpose for sex than just to achieve pleasure and to procreate.  Sexual activities can also become the means to attain greater heights of Awareness and can even culminate in Enlightenment.  Paradoxically, it is through sex that we can transcend sex and the bodily senses!  

Let us not confuse sexuality with sensuousness.  What lower self conscious humans experience when engaged in sex is animal sexuality because lower self conscious humans have their roots in the human-animal body. Our lower self conscious world is a sexual place.  It is a world that is under the law of Mother Nature.  It is a place where sex normally precedes love.  Yet, strangely enough, almost everybody proclaims that they are in love, when they are only physically attracted to each other. What actually occurs is that they have fallen in-sex!  

There is nothing negative about being in-sex; this is how Mother Nature programmed humans to be.  There is a natural purity and innocence about two people being physically attracted to each other and having spontaneous sex, provided this occurs between two consenting partners who have mutual respect for each other and who have no hidden agendas for their coming together. 

Organized religions and societies have almost always preached that this is evil and morally wrong, thereby forcing one of the most fundamental aspects of our humanness underground and placing an aura of dirtiness over what is an innate and natural act, created by The Divine Creator.  The Church took control over people’s sexuality as a means to put the fear of god into them.  This gave them power over the populace—a power that served only to promote the Church’s interests.

Equating sex with sin and the connected psychological damage that this inflicted on humanity was one of the greatest crimes perpetrated by the church. This travesty was initiated and enforced by the Church and condoned by mainstream society. The Church has always used sex and sin and fear and punishments as a way to control the lives of their parishioners.  People’s fundamental sexual rights were now defined by the sanctioned instructions of the Church.  Through this control, the Church psychologically curtailed people’s sexual independence and placed it into the hands of a few.

Because of the Church’s anti-woman stance, the female has always been more severely controlled and punished than the male, both physically and psychologically. The burden of sexual behavior was almost always placed on the female. She is the one who bore the brunt of punishment for what was deemed to be sexual misconduct, affecting her life ruthlessly and relentlessly throughout the ages up to this very day.  When it came to the male, the view that boys will be boys has always been openly endorsed not only by the Church but also by most societies.

Throughout our known history, the female was denied sexual freedom except for a few rare societies.  Only marriage allowed her to be a sexual being.  Even then, she was expected to remain a ‘lady’, which meant that she was to perform her duty but not to enjoy sex.   The female has not only been subjected to physical rape by the male but has also been psychologically raped and abused by the Church. Throughout history, men made the female the scapegoat for their sexual weaknesses and emotional shortcomings.

Let us be truthful about what in-sex really means. It means to be in heat.  Unlike the female, the male human-animal is perpetually ready for sex.  The term being in heat is not appealing to the human psyche.  Being in heat is a reality that is too raw and too strong for most ‘civilized’ human minds to deal with.  Humans prefer the term being in love or making love rather than making sex or having sex.   This is especially true of the female because of the way she has been brainwashed to think about sex. It was not acceptable for her to think about sex and because of that she spent a lot of time doing just that.  Sex is too powerful a force to be suppressed and denied; it will find an outlet.  One outlet, especially for the female, came with the game of Romantic Love.

However, the game of Romantic Love was only another destructive episode in the life of the female.  Romantic Love became one of the greatest deceptions for both sexes but especially for the female.  The idea for Romantic Love was believed to have originated from the medieval ideal of chivalry.  Therefore, it most likely originated from the fantasies of ‘chivalrous’ males.  The Romantic Love game was on the opposite pole of the misogynist game.  Both games had the same effect; both denied and suppressed female sexuality. The misogynists basically considered her to be a whore.  The romantic chivalric males considered her to be an untouchable idol—a Madonna, to be adored and worshipped from ‘afar’.

The whole idea of Romantic Love greatly appealed to the female’s repressed sexual emotions and physical desires.  However, the game of Romantic Love titillated her senses and her hopes but society left her with few opportunities for fulfilling those hopes and dreams.  Other aspects of the game that worked against her are the contrasting psychologies of the male and the female. 

The male and the female are two halves of a whole.  However the feminine and the masculine approach to life are opposed because they are polar opposites.  The way the male looks at the world is very different from the way the female does.  Both are motivated by different needs. The female has a need to be loved and to love—and then to have sex.   The male’s need is to have sex first and then be loved.  This major psychological distinction only led her down the path to more suffering.

For the male, the Romance game is played mainly in the hopes of attaining sexual favors.  For the female it is mainly a game of hoped for love.  Few men have the ability to feel genuine love during their pursuit of sex.  When in the chase, their main objective is to physically possess the female.  Many men equate sexual attachment and possessiveness with love.  They will often feel like they are in love or pretend that they are but that feeling almost always disappears once their objective for sex has been reached. With the male it is normally his testosterone that prevails. With the female it is almost always the heart.

As predictable with any male created game or law concerning sexuality, the male has everything to gain and the female has everything to lose.  The idea of Romantic Love is just another layer of illusion cast over the female and her sexuality, taking her even further away from spontaneous and natural sex.   The Romance game is a mating ritual, pure and simple! The male knows that the female is always ready for romance and for most males the game became only another tool for conquest.  And whatever the outcome to the game was, she was usually left to suffer the consequences.

The female’s human rights, as an independent thinking and functioning human being, have been denied throughout the centuries.  She was deliberately rendered powerless by male dominated societies, not only during our past civilizations but up to and including today, albeit less so in the Western countries.  The male has always used his superior physical strength and his ruling powers as a way to suppress the female and that included not allowing her to have any individual rights over her own sexuality. Male made laws forced her into submission and servitude to him.  She was considered of less value than the male and subjugated to the level of a second-class citizen.

It was the intent of fearful misogynist males—who instinctively feared and hated her feminine powers and the stronghold that she had over them with her sexuality—to make her weak and helpless. In the majority of cases they were successful. Being subjected to intimidations and death threats, the female was forced to give over her powers and human rights to the male.  Becoming mainly a sexual object for men further dehumanized her. She became a commodity, an article to be bought, traded, sold, used and abused.                      

This sadly continues to be the life experience for millions of females around the globe—to this day.  We are living at the beginning of the twenty-first century and it is a fact that human trafficking, sexual slavery and all manner of abuses against the female are on the increase.  It is alarming that this is now becoming a more prominent trend, even in the developed countries. The appalling inhumane treatment of the female continues, as does the sexual abuse of children of both genders.

Even today, there are many parts of the world where freedom of sexual activity and expression are denied to mature men and women.  This is done by the same two powers: the dark force of the life-denying and anti-female religions and the unconscious, insensitive and brutalizing mindset of behind the times feudal societies. In these outdated societies, arranged marriages are still the norm and the female and sometimes the male have little or almost no say regarding whom or when they marry. 

In these societies the female continues to be sold off by her parents by means of paying a dowry to the groom’s family.  This system is an open invitation for the mistreatment of the female. Due to the greed for material possessions, many females are psychologically abused, injured and killed because after the wedding the husband’s families often start a constant and continuing demand for more dowries. 

Equally inhumane is the practice of child-marriages. Girls who have not yet reached puberty are subjected to the danger of having babies, before they are biologically ready to do so. Often they are married to men who are old enough to be their grandfathers. When things go wrong in these forced marriages, the majority of the females’ families refuse to take them back. This leaves them enslaved to a life of servitude, sexual abuse and to all kinds of ill treatment. 

In most Western societies, many modern females are still involved in abusive sexual relationships. However, for the most part, these are consenting relationships that she knowingly entered into and she can leave them and terminate them at her choice.  Unlike her Eastern sisters, she has many options available for getting help when in an abusive situation. She often gets herself into abusive situations because of her unrealistic view of the male-female relationship. One of her idealistic expectations is that she can change him. She often marries for love when actually she was only in-sex. It is then, after her desire for sex tapers off, that the men often become sexually abusive and violent.

In her quest to be free from abuse and discrimination, the modern female took on a more aggressive posture, especially in the sexual arena.  In trying to become equal to men, she repressed many of her feminine qualities and began to take on masculine ones, thinking that this was the way to her liberation.  She tried to make herself more like a man and therefore became less of a female.  She has gone off into the wrong direction!

The contemporary female is functioning less and less from the genuineness of her heart because many of her nurturing and compassionate feelings have become desensitized due to all the traumas inflicted on her.  Going against her intrinsic nature has caused even more of a distortion to her psyche, whose aim is to protect and preserve life—especially that of her own children.  More females are going from being a victim to being an abuser. Some females have become party to the sexual abuse of children.  They commit violence and physical abuse against children and stand by, while closing their eyes to what is being perpetrated by the male upon other females; including, at times, their own daughters being sexually abused by a male family member.  

After so many centuries of not being allowed to express their natural sexuality, most females in our contemporary society are unsure of what they should be like as an un-programmed female. Interestingly, the female believes herself to be liberated, at least in the Western countries.  This might be true on the surface but she has not yet liberated herself from the centuries of brainwashing that she has been subjected to.  She has still not yet come to terms with her feminine psyche.  She is still searching for her feminine identity and above all, her sexual genuineness.   She still has the tendency to put her life into the hands of a male instead of finding her own purpose and meaning in life.

The male has also paid a price due to his subjugation of the female. It is the feminine influence that helps the male become a more sensitive and emotionally mature human being.  By not having an equally free sexual partner, he has been deprived of knowing the entirety of himself as he has been denied the opportunity of finding his own spiritual nature within his sexual maleness. By not having a meaningful and psychologically healthy relationship with the female on an equal human-to-human level, he has been deprived of the opportunity to experience a more fulfilling and holistic relationship with a genuinely authentic sexual partner.

It is the male’s insecurity, his fragile ego and his ignorance of the female’s psyche that bring out the bully in him. The female has always better understood the psyche of the male, whereas most males have little or almost no understanding of what her needs and desires are. The majority of males have always lagged behind the female in emotional maturity and sensitivity. The male’s persistent aggressive behavior towards the female, his egoistic need to possess and to claim ownership of a female, have caused chasms of mistrust to grow between them that are centuries old. They have become guarded partners.  This has made it difficult for the female or the male to fully surrender their Beingness to the other during the time of sexual intimacy. 

  It is not a sign of weakness to surrender herself fully during the sexual act, as the contemporary woman might think.  Her physical and psychic surrender is a powerful feminine force.  Her complete surrender brings about a state of ‘melting into cosmic unity’.  It is a holistic surrender so complete and so compelling that her male partner cannot resist; his Beingness will automatically be drawn in and absorbed by the force of this spiritual unity.  Her surrender has the power to free him from himself by revealing to him the state of his inner Beingness.  Her surrender can also become his.  When this occurs, both will be freed from physical awareness. All that is left to them is the reality of the purity of their Beingness and their existence with Oneness.

 After becoming absorbed into this cosmic unity, the male’s ego is completely annihilated, stripped bare of his personality and freed from his ego. While separated from his ego, there no longer remains any awareness or worry about his ‘performance’.  He is now able, without fear or restraint, to move beyond his masculinity to sense his own inner Beingness and get in touch with his own emotions and sensitivity. Having experienced this Oneness of Self, the male now realizes that losing his ego is not a threat to his manhood, that there is more to his Beingness than just being a male and that being egoless is a positive and life-enhancing state to be in, especially during the act of sex.

For the majority of the lower self conscious human-animals, sex is just a physical act—used for breeding and for obtaining sexual pleasure.  Sexual activities have become a recreational pastime for them, a part of their entertainment menu.  Sex has been reduced to its lowest common denominator.  It has become a cheap commodity for all sorts of exploitations.  Sexual violence and mistreatment are mainly directed against the female and the most vulnerable of all, children.  Such is the state of our modern, civilized world.  Not much has changed between our past and present civilization.

Just as mankind has abused everything within its reach, the most abuse has involved sex. This state of affairs has been brought about mainly because almost all religions have preached against sex; made it out to be a ‘dirty’ shameful act and a sin against god. It is precisely because the Church vehemently preached their anti-female, anti-sex dogma that sexual perversion developed and continued to grow.  The suppression and denial of normal sexual needs turned healthy human beings into uptight, neurotic and sexually obsessed creatures.  Sex is too strong a force to be suppressed; it will find other channels through which it can express itself.  The force of suppressed sex is almost always destructive.

Additional damage was done to our natural healthy and instinctive sexual expression when sexuality moved into the Mind.  Natural, instinctive sex is free of Mind.  However, due to Man now living and experiencing everything directly through his Mind first, sex is now mostly activated, performed and expressed through our Mind instead of coming directly from the purity and spontaneousness of our instinctive biology.  Now, it is our Mind that gives permission and direction on how we use our sexuality.  The Mind has usurped, polluted and diluted sex. Therefore, our sexuality has lost its natural beauty, joy, purity and freedom.  In order to experience unadulterated sex, we need to get out of our Mind; only then is it possible to reunite directly with our natural senses.  

In our contemporary world, sex is available abundantly.  However, plenty of sex just means quantity not quality.  For many, sex has become an unsatisfying, inconsequential performance—just a momentary physical sexual relief.  The body might be satisfied but the psyche is left unfulfilled because during sexual lust we are separated from our Soul. When in-lust, we are completely within our animal beingness.  Our psyche rarely takes part in sex as it lies outside the Mind.   The void that is left by an unfulfilled psyche leaves an emptiness that seeks to be filled.  This emptiness can only be filled after we enter a state of psychic sensuousness and it is then that both partners’ Souls can meet.

  With many, it becomes an obsession to rid them selves of this feeling of emptiness.  They begin to look for more and more titillating sexual actions in order to make sex more physically and psychologically exciting and fulfilling. But excitement can never take the place of emotional contentment nor alleviate the longings of the psyche.  As a result, some will eventually turn into committing all kinds of sexual abuse in order to get a sexual ‘high’.  These ‘highs’ often become an addiction requiring more severe acts of abuse in order to keep that ‘high’.  When this feeling of emptiness is accompanied by a feeling of worthlessness or rage, it can turn into a severe pathological problem that leads to all kinds of sexual perversions, including rape and murder.

The human race has changed little in spite of Man’s proclamations of how civilized we and our societies have become.   When we scratch the veneer of Man’s surface and stir up the animal traits that still rule him we will quickly find the brute emerging. Besides religion, sex has been and continues to be the chief instigator of aggression and violence, predominantly from the male of the species.  Nothing can bring out the human brute in the male more quickly and viciously than the activation of his sexual energy that lie submerged within. All the aggressive and destructive tendencies, which male’s exhibit, originate in the sex center. We cannot dismiss the fact that the male human-animal has been wired by Nature to be a predator.   The female’s chief destructive tendency in the game of sex and love has always been jealousy, which at times can also lead her to extreme acts of violence.  And in contrast to the male, she often turns this violence inward—against herself.

Man’s psychological evolutionary progress has been miniscule. This is especially true of his emotional makeup.  Man’s intellectual development and abilities have far outpaced his emotional growth.   He has come a long way in polishing his personality but Man’s inner core, his Essence, has hardly changed from the time he first evolved into Homo sapiens, the human-animal.  In our current civilization, Man’s Essence continues to weaken at an alarming and escalating rate because of non-use and contemporary Man functions more from his personality and less and less from the center of his Essence.  He has almost become completely disengaged from his spiritual roots, the core of his Essence.

 A human being’s Essence is the center, the inner most core of his Beingness.  It is the nucleus, the heart of his spirituality.  The growth of his Essence is the accumulation of all his thoughts and actions—over many life times—that lie outside his animal nature and move him closer to his spiritual potential. The growth of a human being’s Essence is entirely dependent on his own actions.  And it is through Man’s ignorance, his irresponsible actions and his egoistical personality that he has lost his way; lost himself in the labyrinth of his own Mind.

How can we Homo sapiens, the human-animal Man, find our way out of this unequal and brutish sexual morass that our civilization finds itself engaged in?  There is only one way — there has to occur a major shift of consciousness within the human being!  It is impossible for the lower self conscious Man to change his old world because the collective lower self consciousness has composed it. This collective consciousness cannot transform en masse to a new consciousness.   It is only through each individual’s own efforts that the transformation to the new consciousness will occur. 

A new consciousness, a New Man, is needed to start a civilization that will take Man in a new direction. This present species of Man, the human-animal of the lower self consciousness, must be replaced by a Being of a Higher Consciousness.  This Man of a Higher Consciousness is already here!   The Higher Self Conscious Man is filled with the Light and Presence of his Soul.  He is a new species of Man, still in the developmental stage. He is in the process of transcending his animal ancestry and becoming a fully spiritualized Being.  Even the most imperfect infant of the New Man of the Higher Self Consciousness surpasses the most matured lower self human being.

This Higher Self Consciousness has its roots not only in matter and duality but also in the Oneness of the Transcendent.  The Higher Self Being’s emotions will be more sensitive and balanced and his intellect more comprehensive. He thinks and sees in a holistic way because he sees both sides of duality at once.  His center of gravity lies in his Essence and in his Heart, not in the personality and the Mind.  He will be wisdom oriented.   He will be self-governing, self-regulating and take responsibility for his own thoughts and actions and that includes his sexuality.

 The New Man’s biology will greatly differ from that of the old man. It is during the New Man’s journey toward his maturity that his sexuality will progressively be transformed from animal sex to aesthetic sensuousness.  As long as we are only in-sex, the senses of our sexuality are confined to the body.  However, when we meet each other at the core of our Beingness, we enter into a state of sensuousness.  When in sensuousness our whole Beingness becomes orgasmic. There is no longer a division between the senses of our body, our emotions or an inner or an outer.  All senses have united and become one orgasmic whole.

Aesthetic sensuousness is the feeling of velvet as we sink deep into the sense of its softness.  On the other hand, animal sexuality has the feeling of homespun cloth; we feel its coarseness and its utility.  That intense depth-charged, all engrossing look that carries both partners into each others center of Beingness, as they gaze longingly and deeply into each other’s eyes, is not sex—it is sensuousness!   When partners look at each other with heated glances that convey no depth but only reflect off the surface of each other’s eyes —it is sex.

  We must bear in mind that every consciousness has its own individual levels of Awareness and understandings.  Those who have made their entry into the Higher Self Consciousness must also go through various growing stages, such as infancy, adolescence, young adulthood and so forth.  Many of the animal traits from the old lower self consciousness still remain present in the New Man.  These will have to be dealt with until they have all been eliminated and transcended.  At the time of his maturity—when he metamorphosed into Cosmic Man—he will leave sex behind.  The Cosmic Being is a united Being, complete within his Oneness and therefore, genderless.

In the lower self consciousness of duality the male is at one end of the pole of duality and the female on the other.  This is why such a wide psychological distance exists between them.  It is a distance of motives, expectations, priorities and sensitivity. During different times in our history, this gap has intermittently narrowed or widened.  It is this gap between the sexes that is the cause of all their disagreements, misunderstandings, mistrust and acts of cruelty and violence.  But within the world of duality, this gap can never be fully closed.

The distance of this gap, however, can and does change. It is mainly when this gap between the sexes is in the process of narrowing that the most severe confusion, turmoil and consequences are produced; not only within the psyche of the genders but also within their respective societies. The collective consciousness of a society always fights against change. When the gender gap narrows, much chaos is produced. The main underlying cause is that the force of duality fights against Oneness. It does so with an added vengeance when the force of Mother Nature is added to the battle.

The force of Mother Nature is against the narrowing of the gap. The closer both sexes come to the center of the pole, the more likely they are to meet each other on the level of their Beingness instead on the level of their sexual characteristics.  It is in Mother Nature’s interest to keep the sexes as distinct as possible.  The broader the gap is between the sexes, the more prominent are the male’s and female’s physical differences and their natural gender characteristics and traits; such as the male’s aggression in attaining a female and the female’s submission in order to have his protection. Animalistic human beings are less individualistic and therefore, less choosy. This trait provides them with a larger pool of partners to choose from. They are also more likely to have a larger number of offspring. 

Once our lower self consciousness self has acquired Higher Self Consciousness, we will begin moving towards the center of the pole of duality. The closer we come to the center of the pole the less sexual we become.  We will begin to see and respond to the opposite sex beyond their sexual attractiveness and characteristics.  We will first be attracted to their Beingness as a genderless human being and only later, if a relationship is so inclined, on a sexual level.

 This move out of sexuality and into spiritual sensuousness is an automatic, instantaneous shift; like the click of a switch.  We need do nothing further—the desire for animalistic lust will simply drop away on its own.  It will vanish from our biology and from our psyche.  Without the driving force of lust, our sex energy no longer has full authority over us.  We now have the freedom to think of sex objectively and to be in charge of how we wish to use it.  And lastly, once we arrive at the center of the pole, where all dualities become neutralized, sex will permanently disengage.

This movement towards the center of the pole is dependent on the speed with which we mature into our Higher Self Consciousness.  As our sexual center continues to become more purified and transformed, we continue to become less and less interested in sex.  At a certain stage of our maturity, our need for spiritual bonding with a partner is more compelling than physical sex. We now find the ‘taste’ of sensuousness more satisfying because now our psyche seeks fulfillment and not our body.   As long as we still retain the desire for a partner, a state of spiritual communion with the other will be our main objective. The actual act of having sex is only a by-product. Orgasm is not the objective; spiritual communication with the partner is. Sensuous communication with the other supercedes any gratification that physical sex can provide. 

It is possible for the male and female to rise above their animalistic sexuality. We can achieve a state of spiritual unity; a unity, in which our Awareness is centered chiefly within the psyche and our Awareness of the physical, has completely vanished. When this transpires, a closed circle-of-unity is reached between the two partners and their two Souls become as one; sex has been transcended and a state of spiritual sensuousness has been achieved.  However, an even higher and more blissful state of transcendence can still occur at this point.  A third force can enter; this third force is the Presence of the Divine.  With the Presence of the Divine, this circle expands into an Oceanic-Sensuous-Bliss.  This is the summit of sexual transcendence with a partner.

 There is an age-old system that teaches the technique of using sexual power as a means for expanding consciousness. This system is called Tantra Yoga.  Through this practice we can enter a different dimension of our Being.  One technique is to take part in sex but withhold orgasm.  This withholding will eventually build to a tension where the accumulated force of the sex energy transforms itself into higher states of spiritual transcendence. It can create a space for the meeting of two Souls, for an authentic communion of love or we can go in full Awareness deep within the center of our orgasmic cyclone and reach a state of mindlessness and timelessness.  There, we will find utter Silence.  This Silence is the core and the fullness of our Beingness.

A state of sensuous unity can be more easily achieved, if at least one of the partners has attained to Higher Self Consciousness.  The partner who has his Beingness within the Higher Self Consciousness has the ability to transmit Shaktipat to his partner.  Shaktipat is a Sanskrit word from the Hindu tradition that means spiritual energy.  The power of Shaktipat will then raise the other partner into the transcendent state of spiritual-unity. This energy is the same as the Kundalini energy.  Shaktipat is what a Guru confers on a disciple or in this case it is conferred on our sexual partner.

When the Higher Self Conscious Being matures and attains to full Cosmic Consciousness, gender and sex no longer exist because the Being of Cosmic Consciousness is Immortal.  The Cosmic Being’s body is no longer composed of flesh and bones. The form of a Cosmic Conscious Being is composed of vibrations that are beyond coarse matter and heavy solidness.  At the present stage in our human evolution we are unable to understand or to verify what the factual vibrational frequency level of the Cosmic form really is. 

However, there is a record of shared factual information regarding the effects on our physical body and on our psyche while we experience Cosmic Consciousness.  We feel disconnected from our physical body because there is no longer a sense of weight or gravity.  We feel that we are floating weightlessly and effortlessly above the ground.  In fact, we no longer have any awareness of a solid ground beneath us, nor are we aware of any physical boundary.  It feels like the body has simply evaporated and melted with its surroundings.  We no longer have a sense of normal bodily breathing, for we no longer feel our breath coming or going. It feels as if we are being breathed by a mild vibration of gentle sensuousness.

The Transcendent Realms that are still on the plane where senses exist are also filled with an atmosphere of sensuousness.  This is why some of the Higher Realms are so alluring.  For instance, when we are within the Flow of the Divine Consciousness, the Flow is tinged with an alluring, soft and delicate sensuousness that encompasses our entire Beingness. The Mystic State of Consciousness, during which our physical body is not present to our Awareness, is pure emotional sensuousness.  This Mystic State of Consciousness is a yearning for our Lover, with whom we wish to be reunited. The songs and praises and longings for the Beloved that are described in so many writings, are all about this desire to be reunited with the intoxicating sensuousness of the Mystic Consciousness.

Giving up our human-animal sexuality is almost beyond the comprehension of the lower self conscious person.  It is only after we have moved beyond sex that we realize that we have given up nothing when comparing it to its successor—sensuousness. Sex is only a momentary enjoyment, centered within certain physical areas of our body.  Sensuousness is a complete fulfillment of our entire Beingness.  Sensuousness not only permeates every cell of our physical body but also our psyche. 

Once we have transcended sex and have moved into a permanent state of sensuousness, we realize that physical sex was only a child’s toy but a necessary one for most of us still in the lower self consciousness.   It is only after we have become freed from sexuality, that we can realize how narrowed down a world is, where sex commands such a dominant role and nearly everything a human being does or thinks originates and is given momentum by their sexual center.

Freedom from bondage to sex opens us to a new world; a much wider world with new and fresh vistas.  The world again becomes an innocent playground, just as it was before we lower self humans matured into our sexuality.  With the weight of sex removed from us, we can again experience the joyousness and high spirits of innocence!
